Jean Hancock joined Hancock Law in 2007 as a family and civil mediator and is currently the head of Hancock Law’s ADR team.
Jean brings vast experience and remarkable intuition to her practice as a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114. Over the past decade, Jean has successfully mediated a multitude of high conflict civil, criminal and family disputes. She has been instrumental in local restorative justice and juvenile justice programs; and she has worked tirelessly in family related disputes, especially those disputes between parents and minor children.
Having entered college at the age of 16, Jean Hancock graduated with honors at the age of 20 from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, earning a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Criminal Justice.
Jean’s commitment to the integrity of families does not end with her own. Jean’s mediation practice focuses on restoring broken relationships within families and within communities. She mediates neighborhood disputes, disputes between individuals and organizations, and serves as a post-decree family mediator and Parenting Time Expeditor.
