Steven J. Hancock

Steve Hancock’s calm demeanor and communication style coupled with experience and dedication make him an effective and skilled advocate consistently achieving successful results for his clients.   

Steve is an honors graduate from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, with degrees in Philosophy and Theology, and earned his Juris Doctor at William Mitchell College of Law.

In addition to being an aggressive litigator, Steve is also a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 and practices alternative dispute resolution as a mediator and civil arbitrator.

Steve Hancock brings a unique and valuable perspective to the practice of law with an extensive background in emergency services including work with law enforcement, fire services and emergency medical services.

Steve is admitted to practice in the District and Appellate Courts of the State of Minnesota and in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Steve is the head of Hancock Law’s medical and corporate litigation team and practices primarily in the areas of: Corporate Civil Defense, Personal Injury, Auto Accidents, Product Liability, Post-Decree Family Law, Criminal / Municipal Law, ADR, Wrongful Death and Medical Malpractice.
